Integrating your calendar with Ginni AI allows the platform to automatically join your scheduled sales meetings, record key insights, and provide detailed post-call reports. This integration ensures that Ginni AI is aligned with your meetings and can capture the data you need without any manual effort.
1. Connecting Your Google Calendar
Step 1: Access Calendar
Navigate to Meetings: After logging into Ginni AI, you’ll be prompted to connect your calendar. This is the first setup step after logging in.
Select Google Calendar: Ginni AI currently supports Google Calendar, so ensure you have a Google account connected.
Step 2: Authorize Access
Grant Permissions: When prompted, log into your Google account and grant Ginni AI the necessary permissions to view your calendar and manage event details. This allows Ginni AI to automatically join your meetings.
Confirm Connection: After successfully connecting, you’ll see a confirmation message, and your Google Calendar will be integrated with Ginni AI.
2. Meeting Participation and Recording
Once your Google Calendar is connected, Ginni AI will automatically join your scheduled sales meetings. Here’s how it works:
Step 1: Sales Meetings
Sales Call Definition: A sales call is defined as a meeting that includes at least one external participant and a Google Meet or Zoom link. Ginni AI will automatically join these calls if they meet the criteria.
Step 2: Admitting Ginni AI (if needed)
Ginni AI may join the meeting directly or appear in the waiting room. In the latter case, you’ll need to admit Ginni AI into the meeting.
Ensure you allow recording for Ginni AI to capture the conversation for generating insights.
3. Managing Meeting Details
Step 1: View Scheduled Meetings
Upcoming Calls: After connecting your Google Calendar, all upcoming sales meetings will appear in Ginni AI’s meeting list. You’ll be able to see scheduled calls, along with any relevant details.
Step 2: Skip Specific Meetings
Skip Non-Sales Calls: If you have meetings that don’t require Ginni AI participation (e.g., internal discussions), you can easily skip them by hovering over the meeting in the calendar and selecting the Skip option.
4. Troubleshooting Common Issues
If you experience any issues with calendar integration, here are a few solutions:
Ginni AI Not Joining the Call: Ensure the meeting is marked as a sales call (i.e., has an external participant and a Google Meet or Zoom link).
Meeting Not Appearing in Ginni AI: Make sure you are the meeting organizer and that the meeting includes the correct link and details.
Permission Issues: Double-check that Ginni AI has been granted the appropriate permissions to access and manage your calendar.
