In Ginni AI, you can assign specific roles to your team members to control their access to various features and settings. This ensures that each user has the right level of access based on their responsibilities within your team. Roles have 2 elements:

  • Seat Type

  • Permission Type

🪑 Seat Types: Full vs Viewer

Each user needs a seat. The type of seat determines access level and whether they count toward your billing plan.

Full Seat (Paid)

This is for reps who:

  • Join calls (via calendar or phone)

  • Generate AI reports and coaching

Viewer Seat (Free, limited per plan)

Viewers can:

  • Access call reports and dashboards shared by others

  • Learn from top calls and team insights, but cannot generate new reports

Viewer seats are free but limited by plan.

👤 Permissions: Admins vs Users

There are two types of user permission in Ginni:

Admin

Admins can:

  • Invite and remove teammates

  • Assign or change seat types

  • Manage billing, CRM integrations, and company settings

  • Access team-level insights like dashboards and coaching scores

Every company should have at least one admin to manage access and settings.

User

Users can view reports and insights—but can’t manage the team or settings.

You can promote any user to admin or downgrade an admin anytime.
