Sometimes important sales conversations happen outside your connected calendar. Don't miss the chance to capture these valuable insights! This guide shows you how to manually invite Ginni to record any meeting, even if it wasn't scheduled through your calendar.
When to Use Manual Recording
Ginni's manual recording feature shines in several common scenarios:
You're not the meeting owner - Someone else scheduled the meeting, but you still want Ginni's insights
Impromptu conversations - A prospect suggests jumping on a quick call with a freshly created meeting link
Testing Ginni before calendar integration - You want to experience Ginni's magic before connecting your calendar
Last-minute opportunities - A potential deal appears and you need to capture the conversation
How to Manually Record a Meeting
Recording a meeting manually takes just a few clicks:
Navigate to the Meetings page in your Ginni dashboard
Click the Record Meeting button in the top right corner
Enter the required information:
Meeting link (Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams)
Meeting name (make it descriptive for easy reference later)
Select when the meeting will occur:
Join Now - For meetings that are about to start or already in progress
Later today - For meetings scheduled later the same day (specify the time)
Click Record to confirm
Important Notes
Manual recording is available only for meetings happening today - you cannot schedule recordings for future dates
Make sure to complete this process before your meeting starts for the best results
Use consistent naming for your manually recorded meetings (e.g., "Prospect Name - Topic") to keep your Call Library organized
The meeting link must be from a supported platform (Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams)
You'll receive the same comprehensive AI analysis for manually recorded meetings as you would for calendar-integrated ones
Next Steps
Once your manually recorded meeting ends, Ginni will process the conversation just like any other recorded call. Head to your Call Library to find the insights, analysis, and AI coaching for your conversation.
